About Us
Evergreen Duct Cleaning, was established by Cleon & Christine Martin in 1996. It is a family owned and operated business that will always strive to ensure the job is done well and to your satisfaction.
Evergreen duct cleaning started with humble beginnings. Cleon purchased his first duct cleaning truck in 1996 and did all of the duct cleaning by himself for many years. Christine managed the phones and office work from home. Together they ran this business successfully for 27 years.
In more recent years Evergreen Duct Cleaning has increased the number of staff and now have two trucks and trailers on the road.
June of 2023 Cleon and Christine are retiring from this business but will be passing the business to their son Ryan and his wife Nicole. Ryan and Nicole plan to carry on the quality of service that Cleon and Christine did.

Frequently asked questions
-
Will duct cleaning wreck my duct system? No, absolutely not.
-
Does a new home need to be cleaned?Yes, new homes have a lot of construction debris and drywall dust that we can remove for you.
-
What benefits can I expect from having my ductwork cleaned?Improved indoor air quality, which is beneficial if you suffer from allergies. Better furnace performance. Remember to regularly replace disposable filters or clean reusable filters so as not to starve the furnace of air. Less dusting and greater heating/cooling efficiency.
-
Why does my duct system get dirty? If the rest of your house gets dirty from general use then the furnace will pull the dirt into the duct system too.
-
What are the most common or unusual things you have found in ductwork? We commonly see a lot of dead mice, birds, squirrels, golf balls, pool balls, and sometimes money (which we will give back to you). Some of the unusual things we've found have been a dead snake and racoon.
-
Do I need to clean my furnace too?We highly recommend cleaning your furnace at the same time as your duct work. This way we take all the dust and debris out of your system. Our professionals will advise you if your furnace needs to be cleaned.
-
What do I need to do before you come?If you can have your driveway cleared of vehicles and snow, so we can back our truck and trailer in. Moving larger furniture off of hot and cold vents is helpful, we can move smaller furniture.
-
Can my pets be in my home while you are duct cleaning?Yes, but please inform us if there are pets in the home, when we arrive. The front door is sometimes left open so if you have a pet that might escape, we will make sure he/she is placed safely in a bedroom.
